Mine had to get redone too! They told me they would need a week, so I just left the car with them and went back in a week. They told me before I got there that I would probably want them to redo it. There were some areas that looked like they were going to flake. They set me up with a “loaner” wheel / tire set so that I could at least drive the car. That helped, but it felt weird driving on 18’s with thick sidewalls. At least the finished product turned out awesome. I’m betting yours will also end up awesome.

Thanks Martin. In general the wheels looks awesome but here and there were some running noses and uneven paint. They had the fuel cap as sample and they nailed the color.
Tomorrow or Saturday my DRL’s are coming, so that would be just in time and now.... but ok I waited so many month who cares about a few days more ( I’ll keep saying that for the next few days.)

Tired of the rain when I’m off and sun when I’m at work. Having Camaro withdrawals.

Had two driving days (work commutes but I’ll take it) Wednesday and Thursday, then today happened. Fog and mist this morning, severe weather w/small hail and short lived small tornado about 8 miles south of us, this afternoon and several inches of snow this evening and overnight.

Front range (Colorado) weather can give you whiplash.

Is been a crazy busy week. Woke up this morning and realized sun is out, going to get to around 75 today so guess what I'll be doing? Topless therapy.

I'm washing wheels right now. Bout 75° out. Gonna rain tonight. Have to resort to jacking the car up slightly to get the fender wells.

Nice. It’s funky wet weather again today with the temps dropping fast. Luckily I’m at work. Oh well.

Have fun everyone!

Just got the car back from the new fluid transmission fluid flush and exhaust replacement. For those with the A8 troubles so far so good with the new fluid. I’ve had the original fluid swap, the torque converter replacement and now the new fluid. I can say the car has never shifted smoother then now. Knock on wood the 1-2 shift issues are gone as well. Very excited and hopeful that the transmission issues are finally resolved.

On a side note I had the NPP rattle and so they replaced the entire exhaust at the cost of $3300, that’s an insane price lol. Glad I didn’t pay it.
