Trying to track an oil leak

I have an oil leak coming from somewhere on the front of the engine, and it seems to be coming from up high rather than low, because it’s running down. It also seems to be coming from the driver side. Tuner and i have tried finding this leak. we got the life of ourselves can’t spot it. but it is leaking. A lot. I never thought a heavy leak would be so hard to find. We’re going to end up pulling the motor if we have to.

Any ideas of where it could be coming from? Didn’t leak until previous tuner made a pull and it blew oil everywhere from the pcv. But has since gotten worse even with a catch can

Check the oil pan bolts...a number of us had found leaks that originated there. My 1LE had three bolts adjacent to the filter that took a full turn to make them snug. My leak stopped entirely.

and just to make sure, your leak appear to be coming from the top as well? cause i mean the whole front of my motor is coated. what’s it doing? squirting up from the front of the oil pan or something? genuine question not arguing with you

I was just brainstorming a known leak point, you def could have a different problem.

Oil cooler line that leaks under load at operating temperature, making it harder to spot?

I don’t mean to sound condescending because mechanics will scoff at this question, I’m genuinely asking: just check to make sure you tuner used dye and a black light to try to find the leak right?

Just pour about an ounce of this right into the engine oil:

https://www.amazon.com/ACDelco-10-50...4142940&sr=8-5

Then drive the car for a couple days, cycling on and off, highway and city stop and go, for probably 50 miles or so. Then put it on the lift and inspect everything under the engine with this:

https://www.harborfreight.com/uv-lea...hoCyB4QAvD_BwE

You’ll find exactly where your leak is in minutes or less.
