Laguna Seca 1/30 90db Pass stock?

Northern California Racing Club will be doing a lapping day this Sunday 1/30.

Is anyone going? Ill be running in an advanced group.

Does anyone know if the stock exhaust in track mode will pass sound at 90db?

I hated up-shifting and running the left side past the booth on my R6 lol.

Probably not - plan on picking up set of turndown so you dont get your day cut short.

My son and I both blew sound at Laguna with turn-downs, were factory stock. Just back off between turns 5 and 6 (70 mph in 4th gear) and you'll be okay. As soon as you're by the booth, grab third, and go like hell. Not a problem unless you forget (like both of us did).

The valves open under full throttle anyway, just shift early and cruise easy up the hill. Might cost yourself a second but it's not that big of a deal. Speed district has a 105db day 2/12-2/13.

You'll definitely blow sound on a stock exhaust. As Rayvan said, you'll have to lift-off between T5 and T6.
There was a thread on here where someone fabricated DIY Laguna pipes. Not sure how well they work

Edit: JRL1LE and I have run the same set of Laguna Pipes for 90 db days with no problems. If you run stock, you will need to back off on the hill between T5 and T6 as others have noted.

Edit 2: Link to JRL1LE talking about his setup that I bought from him: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showp...28&postcount=8
