Just hit 500 miles this morning. Time to change the oil and really begin to enjoy it!

detailed it a bit. Interior on Monday, exterior on Tuesday. Moved the passenger seat up to vac the back and found a little blue pill... laughed... debated popping it and seeing what happens... then threw it in the woods. Hope some raccoon enjoys the free boner.

I did the same thing when mine hit 500 miles. Then go out and enjoy it.

I almost ordered that stupid thing too, until I took 5 minutes and searched Amazon.

This fits perfectly, and it's so much cheaper.

Little backstory: I had a small 2gal bucket with detailing supplies in all my cars. As you can imagine, it's very bulky and unsightly. Would roll around all the time and towels would fall out, etc. I was looking for a smaller bucket, or maybe put it in a backpack. But a backpack was too big...

What I came up with that's the perfect size for a 16oz detail spray bottle and clean microfiber towels is: A laptop bag.

It's sealed away from dust, cannot fall out, and I butt it against the bottom of the seat. Basically turns into a cushion for the back of peoples legs.

One caveat is you do need to hide it well, and buy one that matches your interior carpet, lest some crackheads break into your car thinking it's really a laptop in there.

That is VERY important, my kids would sometimes leave an empty purse in the car, I'd tell them "Do NOT leave that in there!" Their response "There's nothing in it!" My response "The guy smashing the window to grab it doesn't know that!"

I live in so-cal and it get's hot here, there's no chance these bottles you keep in the car will get over heated and explode?

It's just regular spray bottles, not pressurized. Don't see how it would ever explode.

Getting my new Side skirts rocker panels. Painted after losing them on a trip out to Wy. a couple weeks back. Sure, glad they are under warranty. Now it's wait till the paint shop is done and back to Chevy to have the parts put back in place. This time I'm adding extra screws under the bottom, so I don't have to go through this again.

Just got back from my 1800 mile round trip from my parents house in Newton Falls Ohio back to my house in Orange Park, Florida. She’s almost at 40k miles and got 32-35 MPG the entire time! I want to upgrade to an SS but dang the V6 is very good on gas for round trips.

Curious if youve checked the value of your car, and what the total cost difference would be if you jumped into a new one specced exactly like your old one?

I got offered 27k last year from Carvana and then a month ago Beaver Chevrolet offered to buy it off me for 25,500 when I was getting tires. They wanted it because “hyper blue is such a good looking color and will sell quick” idk if that’s true but still.

I also get the GM supplier discount so if I traded in, with this market, probably either pay 10-15k cash or finance that amount.

As much as I want to, I will probably wait until 2024 to upgrade. This car will be paid off next month and I have been improving the house, lmao.

I was just curious if you could get something close to what you paid for it back then to get a feel for the market. Cheers!
