I had the AWE Touring CAT back with the resonators n my 2017 ZL1 and enjoyed the sound alot.

I have a new 1LE and I'm looking for a new exhaust.

Anyone here have the Borla S-type exhaust on their ZL1?
Borlas website lacks details. Does this system have the valve system?

Has anyone e seen the carbon fiber tips?

I concur 100%...love my AWE catback and they have the best tips and sound IMHO.

Yes, check my posts. You can get it with npp (valves) which is what I have.

i have the S-Type with carbon fiber tips and npp valves. You can get it without the npp valves to save some money if you wish.

I listen to all the videos i could find for exhaust on youtube for ZL1s. I can tell you none of them do the S-Type justice. Its just the right amount of loud when you want it and you can defiantly tell when you close the valves it changes the sound immediately. I couldn't tell when it changed on the stock but it is definable on the borla. I went with borla some because of the name and the other is the npp function which wasn't available on corsa when i bought the borla. I still would have went with borla due to the tonal difference from corsa. In the end it is way to hard to judge the sound on youtube but if you do go with borla you will not be dissapointed

There are people who don't like the tips or the look, but to each their own.
I looked at other set ups and heard different set ups, so I went with what I liked could care less what other people think

Thanks man! I only have about 550 miles on them so far, then had to put my car up for the winter but they still look new!! and I also had the carbon fiber tips ceramic coated!!

I looked at a few different brands (and heard them on person) and the s-type had me sold. I really liked it paired with headers. Increased the deep tone alittle and, imo, makes it perfect.
