Feelsbadman
I know the feels. I get flagged down all the time by imports. By flagged down I mean the customary 4" fart cannon rev. However, that said, I do get a lot of compliments on my car by random people. One time did a 0-60 run at a traffic light scared the crap out of the guy next to me because of how loud the exhaust is. He caught me at the next light to tell me lol Last edited by FlukeSS; 01-25-2022 at 11:04 AM. |

In a bit of a surreal moment, I had a woman in a Camry catch up to me at a red light to yell at me about how my stock 2016 non-NPP V6 RS was too loud (after I gotten on it when the prior light turned green). She would have loved your car!

I would've told her "oh sorry, lemme turn down my exhaust" and start going through the menu options to enable launch control.

It is interesting that you ask this question because I never get waves from other Camaro drivers but 100% of the time I get a stare at my Camaro and I stare at there Camaro as well. I consider it mutual respect. I think we as Camaro owners are always aware of other Camaros on the road since the Camaro has the smallest production numbers out of modern muscle cars. Camaros are limited edition and the least seen on the road which I love. Challengers, Chargers, and Mustangs are a dime a dozen.

Acknowledged my first Camaro driver coming from the other side of traffic and gave him the peace-sign over the steering wheel. I didn't get a response, or at least I couldn't tell if I got a response as it's too difficult to look in. I also pulled up next to an older gen and gave the guy a stare-down hoping he'd look over but he didn't. I'm wondering if he thought I was trying to race him, which I actually was, but I was in my Leaf

Heh, I actually waved to a Camaro driver while driving the wife's SUV one time... at first I didn't understand the look he gave me, then it dawned on me

As for return waves in my Camaro, most of the time yes. There are so few in the Northeast! |
