to answer my own question for anyone using the PTC 97419, they won't slot in without removing the caliper and rotor, not without modification. Looks like the ARP studs have a flat section in OPs guide and these don't. if you were to make a flat section on the head similar to the ARP then it might be able to slot in and not get caught

I usually spring for ARP, especially since I'll be using 26mm spacers but they are out of stock. I used these Dorman studs, worked fine and costs $25. PTC are prolly fine and even cheaper. Dorman are ~5mm longer and I recognize the brand. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0033YJC...roduct_details

I agree with longer studs for 5mm spacers (I tested some and only got about 6.5 turns on OEM SLE wheels).
But is it OK to use stock studs w/3mm spacers? These are required for inside front clearance with some MRR wheels. I am estimating it would get just under 8 turns which I have read on here is sufficient.

There's different schools of thought on minimum thread engagement. One is you want the thread engagement to be equal to the diameter of the bolt. So for our studs which are 14 x 1.5mm you would need 9 turns minimum. I can't remember what stock was when I checked before I changed studs.
14 \ 1.5 = 9.3

Thanks to your tip about minimum thread engagement I checked what it was on the rear studs with my Apex wheels and changed the rears to longer studs

I was a little concerned with doing the rears, but watching the video it doesn't look too bad with pneumatic tools.
Now to go measure the ZL1 stud OD to see if they'll fit inside my SLC wheel holes. The SLC uses M12x1.5 studs, but the opening on the wheel is larger than 14mm so it's feasible.

FYI the ARP 1/2" longer studs are still out of stock everywhere. Found 2 sets that were claimed to be in stock, but after a week waiting, get an email saying won't ship till December. Was worth a shot.
I am planning to run a max of 10mm spacer so expecting, with either PTC or Dorman, will likely have to cut some off since not running open end lugs. Like DaveC, I recognize Dorman brand so going with them. Also the Dorman have a tapered edge so should be installation a tad bit easier.

Placed an order at Jegs a month ago and website currently says the arp +1/2” will ship mid-October, but that date has changed a few times.
With a 10mm spacer, my measurements indicate that leaves about 1.5mm of exposed hub flange. Will your spacers have their own flange?
