Vitesse Throttle Controller or Pedal Commander?

Hi guys,

Looking for input on which is better. I've used Vitesse products on my 2015 V6 RS and never had any issues. Was looking into performance upgrades.

What would be a better option going with a Vitesse throttle control or Pedal Commander? I have heard of people throwing check engine lights with Pedal Commander. Has anyone had any issues with the Vitesse Controller?

Thanks for the input.

Haven't had any issues with my Vitesse after ~7 years. Only got Reduced Engine Power (and a code for throttle position not equal to commanded or something) once because of it when I "blipped" the throttle twice real quick (went to turn left at a red and then the dough head in front of me suddenly stopped, then went again). Maybe with a manual trans and shifting quick you might encounter the same thing, but otherwise no issues. It's fun

Consider JMS PowerMax ONLY tc with circuit board with gold pins made in USA by an engineering firm.

I was thrown into limp mode twice with my Vitesse inside of 3 months. It was great while it worked but after the second time, I yanked it. I learned later that they work best if you just set them somewhere between 5 and 8 and leave them there.

I think I still have it. It's yours for $20 to ship and take it to the post office. Let me know if you're interested and I'll go confirm it's still out in the garage. It doesn't have any instructions with it anymore so you'll need to watch a vid at the web site or on You Tube if you don't already know. But it's very straight forward and easy to install.

I have to agree with this.
Still have the PC installed but, rarely use it since having a tune done from Steve.
Its just there so I can entertain the passenger with “watch this”.

As mentioned above, you'd be better off to just get a tune and be done with it.

I have only had my Camaro for less than a year. I installed a pedal commander and it really "woke up" throttle response. It was cheap enough for the time, to give better throttle response. while i figured out other mods and such. Didnt have any issues with it at all, but it just accelerates the response of the throttle, it does nothing to add power. I am going to do headers and a tune here in the spring

Hey Russ, apologies for the delay. I'll look for that controller tonight after work. I got so caught up in our mining adventures this weekend, it completely slipped my mind. Stay tuned!
