Yes, I've used it numerous times for the same reasons.

I bring most of what's been mentioned and a few things that weren't.

Rain gear and an umbrella (the umbrella also gets used for shade)

short lengths of "2x2" so my stuff doesn't have to sit in the water if it rains

tarp to cover the stuff, weights to hold the tarp down

couple pieces of plywood so my jack/jackstands don't sink into the ground if I'm not parked on pavement or damage the pavement if I'm on it (my home track specifically requires this)

I also bring two of my street wheels/tires as spares. One of those necessarily ends up in the back seat if we're not making a getaway weekend out of it and taking two cars.

I have used the duct tape to field-repair brake ducting damaged in a 4-off.

More good ideas, thank you Norm! There's a 50% chance of rain Saturday, so I might as well prepare for the worst. Also, if I do need to bleed the brakes, I'd hate to ruin the pavement doing it.

That's good. I figured it would work, I just worry about longevity of something meant for emergencies only.

Worst case, you go down to the local auto parts store and buy one of their 12v pumps. Either now so you can save the OE one for resale time or later if the OE pump dies.

I like the idea of saving the OE inflater. It looks like a big chain store near me has a 12v inflater in stock for only $13 so that'll get added to my track-side bin for sure.

I forgot my other “tool”. I bring a laptop with Cosworth software to analyze my PDR Data between sessions.

I have PDR, but only have the basics figured out. I'll eventually download the Cosworth software to go along with it. Out of curiosity, what do you look for exactly? Oil and coolant temps? Lap times?

I compare lap times and see if changes in brake points or driving lines helped or hurt. I love being able to make adjustments while I’m at the track instead of looking at it after I get home.

Oh wow, I did't know Cosworth can compare laps like that. That will be a great learning tool!
