Borla S-Type axle back non-PP installed '19 1SS

Had a local reputable shop put the Borla S-type on the 1SS non-pp today.
They sound awesome! Very pleased. Zero drone driving around but a nice throaty sound. Substantial improvement over stock exhaust. Sounds like a proper V8 now.

If you're looking for REAL LOUD, you'll want to get something else. I just wanted better sound than stock without being too loud and this is PERFECT for me. Sorry no sound clips but I'll had some soon. I know there are some already with this set up.

Attached a few pics. I did notice the left tip sits a little bit lower than the right. Might be hard to tell in the pics. Shop owner was doing his best to make them perfectly level. Not sure if it's really noticeable tbh. I can always go back and see if he can adjust them.

Anyway, very happy with these. Got them on Amazon new for $735 shipped.

Lookin good! I have the exact same issue on my 19 1SS with the left being a little lower than the right. I have the ATAK version. I spent a bunch of time trying to get them more even but I think the only way is to bend the hangers a bit.

Yes I guess since it’s not OEM, won’t be 100% perfect. I can hardly tell on mine. Just gonna leave it.

Well I don't have them so I can't tell you about them in the flesh. I thought about getting the cf tips version. But ultimately I decided the chrome look might be better since it matches the wheels. If I had black wheels, maybe would have gotten the cf tips. Don't think you can go wrong with either.

It's a toss-up. Don't know if they're worth $200 extra though.

I don’t recall them being $200 more. Maybe $80 or so. But I probably would pass on them if indeed they are $200 more.

The quad outlet ones are $200 more. I want to keep the NPP functionality.

Maybe they’re selling catbacks. Nobody is paying $1700 for an axle back I hope.

The ones that retain NPP are about $1800 MSRP for the axle backs. They all sell for cheaper though, about $1500.

Yikes. I didn't want NPP option because of the potential rattle and I didn't think it sounded that great.
