I don't know which methods tuners using is Russia or USA. 300 Hp for this engine is just nothing. For 2.0 turbo engine 340-360 Hp is a normal thing after necessary mods. For all VAG 2.0 close values are normal.
In fact, 2.0 LTG 340-360 Hp, 0-60 close to 4,6 on stock dash timer and 4,8 on Racelogic.
I'm not a tuner, i'm just a customer of tuner company which modified my camaro.

The stock turbo is at its limits around 300whp.

That makes a lot more sense. Take your Crank HP and subtract about 20% HP in drivetrain loss. That is roughly what your Wheel Horse Power (WHP) is. Right around 285-300 HP max. Nobody cares about crank HP. What's important is real life wheel power to the ground.

I have to say, the stock turbo pushed to its max makes for a dam fast car. I'm glad you are enjoying your new found power.

What about forged pistons? I heard a lot about piston failures in 2.0 LTG. All tuned engines should have forged pistons? Sometimes really scary to go full trottle. What do you think?

Pistons are failing on poorly tuned cars or people giving the engine to much sauce on the stock engine. ZZP has a semi-hard breakpoint of over 400whp on stock pistons so i'd imagine 350whp might be a good point to go forged for sanity sake. The most common issue seems to be ring landings.

I heard that most of failed pistons were on stock LTG, cadillac and malibu. Did GM fixed it on camaro engines?

I haven't heard of a stock failure in a camaro yet. Not to say it hasn't happened. Every one on the LTG Camaro thus far to my knowledge was caused by overtuning or in some cases pre-school level tuning out of AZ.
