This is exactly what I did. The F1s runflats that came with my 2SS were horrible in the rain, terrible on top of horrible under 60 degrees.

I bought a set of matching stock wheels from another forum member here, got new TPMS and run the Pilot A/S.

The F1's are in my garage ready for a swap but I missed this season. I keep the TPMS tool in my trunk.

Set of wheels were only 500- for 4pcs. The Pilots now have 20k+ miles on them, they are not as sticky as the F1s but overall fine.

Not a dumb question....There's always a-hole know-it-alls that ruin the forums. Seen it all over the place in any forum for any vehicle I've ever owned. I got all-seasons so I didn't have to worry about the temps

I replaced the 3Rs with 4S a few weeks ago and will have no hesitation in going for a drive on my favorite 15 mi. route in west Denver over the fall and winter, as long as its a) not icy and b) not below say 20F. I did the same in my 2016 GTR over the past 5 years or so and never had an issue. I don't stay out long if it's below 32F.
