A lot of race cars move to this type battery. I am still not sold on them. I guess I read too many horror stories on them. If I put one in my Camaro, it would be fully enclosed in a steel case. Like most EV's.

I keep going back and forth about LiOn batteries.
Question is - considering our car is already front heavy, won't saving weight off the back mess with the near 50/50 distribution of weight? I'm always looking for advice on whether a LiOn battery is a right solution for the Camaro (potential fire risk not withstanding)....too many questions/concerns.
