Heavy Duty Handling and Brake Package: who else ordered it?

I ordered my 1LT RS 2.0T with the Heavy Duty Cooling and Brake Package (Y4Q) on 1-27-16. It's in stage 3400, with a TPW of 3-14-16.
No Big deal, right?
There still isn't a VIN or MSRP, so riddle me this, Batman...
Just curious if anyone else ordered Y4Q, and if they're experiencing anything similar with build delays.
Thanks!

Hi.
There is no VIN as it has not been built yet. There is no delay as it is scheduled to be built this coming week.

Hold on young grasshopper, it's coming.....

When I use the online configurator for the Heavy Duty package, it changes the front grill. Is this intended? Also, I don't know where your car is but I'd like to talk about the Heavy Duty package. Do you guys honestly think the package is worth it? How so?

It appears the RS package is required to choose the HD cooling package, for some reason.

If you intend to use the car on the track (road courses); I'd advice the cooling package. It's what they intended it for. If you're just going to have fun on the street, compete in an autocross, or the occasional drag race, then I really don't think it's necessary.

Thanks for the feedback! I wonder why the grill changes when you're RS and select the package...

Distinction and style. The RS package adds little chrome pieces down the middle/sides, and uses a different grille pattern.

i ordered mine with the brake package. My car has been built sitting at the rail yard in GA. My dealer called me today and informed me my car will be at the dealer on Monday. Can not wait.

Ah, could be a graphical bug then. When I had the RS package selected and clicked on the heavy duty package, it took away the emblem and the chrome slivers.

The HD Cooling/Braking Package requires 20" wheels, so the RS package is not required but the $800 wheel upgrade is. A recent On Line Order Guide revision made the requirement more clear.

And to answer the question, yes to ordering the package and yes to my belief the package is worth it. But looking back to my ordering history, I know my first was to be certain to get the heavy duty cooling and suspension options which indicates a prejudice on my part.

Could be. Last generation, I built a 2014 SS with the 1LE package...but as soon as I added the RS package, the wheels went silver.

I saw that as well, but wasn't sure what was most recent.

Awesome! Thanks for all the info, guys! It's still got a TPW of this week, in stage 3400, and no MSRP, but oh well.
And the reason I ordered the package is mostly because I'm gonna be tuning it with a DiabloSport and I've heard from the ATS 2.0T guys that post-tune, their engines run a bit hot. Ever since I took a Northstar SLS to 235,000 miles with no head gasket issues and had to put an auxiliary trans cooler on my LS4 Grand Prix GXP, I've been a stickler for cooling capacity and making sure I have happy equipment. Plus, beefier brakes are always good to have while driving in the suburbia of Chicago.

At the time we placed an order GM order will not allow you to add Heavy Duty Handling and Brake Package with out the RS, we wanted it but no luck, so went with out that will give use the lightest car, LOL more to mod.

Are these items (HD Braking) installed by a dealer (like most LPO options) or installed at the factory? Anyone know? It makes a difference in classing of the car vs allowed modifications in the classes.

Given that there are extra coolers and such involved, I doubt it'll be dealer installed (the brakes MAY be an exception...)
I work at a GM dealer, so I'll be paying close attention when my Camaro leaves the transport.
