I removed mine on day one and reinstalled it to trade the car in. That was a span of 7 years. Zero issues.

hey Stones, is the "10" in this schematic the part your cutting? also, Im guessing thats what mounts to the top? like sandwiched between the aluminum? Did you just cut the hood to make it fit? I have a hood I just picked up, and want to add this vent and any help would be appreciated.
