Smile Build help for ~ 600 wheel hp

Hey guys, this is my first post I have been looking through for probably a year now and I want to look at my options for getting around 580- 600 - about 650 whp. I have a 2020 camaro ss with the A10, looking at a budget of around 5k but able to play around with it. It would be nice with a build list. Thank you guys! Also if I need a torque converter. I don't mind going FI or N/A. I'm already fbo with e85 running 450 whp. Edit. I'm doing all the labor myself so with that in mind. Also I can play with it up to $6-7k. My parts already installed are - 1 7/8th lth - flex fuel kit - 95 mm lt5 throttle body - lt2 intake manifold - cold air intake - no cats - x pipe. Basically all the "bolt-ons".

I don't think that is possible for only $5000. I think maybe you could get close to 500whp. I'm sure others might know a way to get some more power for the money.

Do like Laynlo15 did and find a used Maggie2300 or Whipple 2.9 kit, that would definitely do the trick. Don’t need a Maggie 2650 or Whipple 3.0 to hit that power number.

Even if I'm already fbo? I'm at 460 whp.
Thank you!

I was assuming going from 0 mods to your goal.

I think with a strong FBO/Heads/Cam setup, ~580whp is possible, granted all dynos will show different power. With a big cam and an increase in compression, It could be done. But you could expect to pay close to $5000 in parts, and even more for labor.

I spent about $4500 on parts for my heads cam setup, but I am nowhere close to 600 whp.

i believe the port injection conversion and blower he ran was easily $5k. injectors alone are prob $1k.

You could run that used blower kit on say 7 psi and just keep your stock fueling. 550-570 WHP all day long.

Parts and labor on a NA build with everything most places are around the 10k mark. One place charges 20k for a Cam Head package. That is changing pistons and all that comes with that, heads with exchange, cam, LTH, Fuel Management delete, including dyno before and after, Everything needed for a complete upgrade, Drive in drive out. The 10 grand is about the going price in the Houston area,,, give or take

Here in south Florida, prices are much higher! My upcoming install consists of the following:
Kook's LTH's (ceramic coated)
Rotofab cai
NGK plugs
E85
before and after Dyno
Tune

Quotes ranged from $4k to $6K

4 to 6 grand sounds about right, the CAI is a big chunk of that, plus the LTH those two are not cheap. It gets expensive very quick.

It sure does. I had no idea going in, how quickly things would add up.

i saw those as 2 different statements.

i believe a factory LT4 would easily meet the goals, as well. idk which way to go with a blower, stock or aftermarket. i was never interested in going fast.

it helps to know if the op is providing the labor for parts install. labor is a big chunk of cost.

You may want to look at a ProCharger, you can do the stage 2 without changing anything on your car, it is all bolt on, tune it and go. Out of the Superchargers it is the most simple and least expensive without having to change anything. Just a thought. Good luck and all the best.

I have a 20 M6 1le and just did a motor build as well as HCI. I obviously spent more than you're looking to spend but I have a very good idea on what it would take to get to 6oo ish whp. My setup is Gpi LT NFC cam, ported and milled heads (.040), 1 7/8 LT headers, e85, stock lt2 manifold and the LT5 throttle body. Like you plan to do I did all the work myself, if you are already fbo you can easily make 580-600 whp for under 5k.
