I have the same issue on my 1LE. I doubt that my dealer will warranty it, but I have an appt for them to look at it. I am running stock wheels and tire sizes.

I am curious why this would be considered a warranty issue. In my mind if you hit debris on the road/track that causes damage to any part of the car why would this be a defect in materials or workmanship?

I don’t remember hitting any debris and my observation is that the liners are paper thin. Since they have an updated design that is reinforced, I figured I’d ask if it is a “defect” that has been remedied with a revised part.
I’m not going to push back if they say no..

Seeing as there is a new reinforced design asking makes sense. I took the comment about rubber sticking through the hole as debris from the track being related to impact damage.

I just noticed quite a few of the responses seemed to be biased towards warranted.

I fail to see how this isn't a warranty item. 100% oem materials failed during normal use, that's covered under the 30k bumper to bumper coverage.

Does anyone know the part numbers for the rear fender liners? I noticed a little hole developing in mine :o

It looks like

84083944 RIGHT
84083945 LEFT

Right means drivers side right?
