I meant using a Mobil 1 oil filter with incorrect PSI bypass valve.

Just to open this up a little bit. Can the oil pressure sensor be the culpit, at least in some of the reported failures?

Adding a Katech oil pump with the cam job as a precaution. Back order was nasty and I was lucky to make the recent batch
Anyone here running one?

First step in the TSB is to use the GM filter & correct oil. If the issue persists then further diagnostics is required. There are different types of failures as well. The variable actuator failure, I think, was either a fault in engineering/ production or incorrect materials, think the valve spring failure scenario. |

Welp, add me to the list.
Build: 07/17 MY: 2018 Mileage: 4,XXX Reduced engine power CEL after a spirited drive, a few more miles of normal driving then zero oil pressure. Towed home. Going to the dealer hopefully this week.

CEL/low oil pressure you should get the car towed immediately, I wouldn't drive it another yard

Doubt it. My pump failed at 16k miles and I always used the AC Delco PF64 filter from the dealer and Mobil 1 oil...
