Convertible Top Protection

I was wondering what everyone is using for protection on the fabric convertible top? My Camaro unfortunately is being parked outside 24/7 now it used to be in a garage. I have been using duragloss convertible top protectant not really wild about it.

I've tried a lot of different brands on previous convertibles and have found auto glym cleaner and 303 marine fabric guard protectant to be best (using renovo dye/restorer in between if it's faded)

303 cleaner, then 303 protectant. takes some time to put on the protectant....not good to get on windows or paint, so covered car in plastic paint drop cloth, then rolled on with mini roller. Water just beads off. I put it on in March 2020..have to do it again soon...still beads but less so than it did when I first put it on (I think it is recommended once per year, but garage kept so it lasted longer)

I applied 303 fabric guard (2 bottle kit) when I bought the car in 2017 and its still going strong 4-1/2 years later. Car is garaged. If I let it outside at this point, I would do another two coats beforehand.

Detailed instructions here:

TL/DR: Follow the directions on the kit. But roll it on, don't spray it!
