It hurt my 60ft since I’m usually in the 1.59-1.60 consistently with one time even getting a 1.56. Seems like the car went faster while DA got worse. 😅. The 10.73 was with a 100lb lighter guy then me . Race weight on that pass was 3550. FBO e85, dragpak, stock converter. I had another 3 passes that were in the high 10.8xx range. Picked up 7/10ths from my 11.4 passes when the car was E85, dragpak only . Looks like it responded well to the mods. Went from 420whp to 476rwp. Attachment 1094859

Good runs! Great MPH. With those MPH's and a better 60' you can get into the 10.60's; maybe 10.50's (With you in the seat - Ha!). Good going.

wnta1ss, while in general I agree with you, with no one updating the list, what the heck? This list is so screwed up now, (since Merc stopped updating) it is no more than a message board. I'm a stick-to-the rules guy, but that has been out the window for a long time now. There are posts from tuners driving customer cars, time slips with no dates or track I.D. and a lot more. The rules on page 1 don't specifically say that the member must be driving their car. Maybe it should; another discussion. The time was long ago to clean this list up, stick to the posting rules and return the value and respect to this list it once had.

Don't know what is going on in Merc's personal life, but I sincerely hope he and his are doing well. There have been at least two offers to take this over, with nothing but crickets. If and when this is turned over to someone with the administrative authority to access the spreadsheets AND update the website; then, it can get back on track.

Thanks guys . Ya I’m just posting it . I figured nobody was really updating the list . The car went a best of 10.81 with me in it. I can’t wait to put the converter in it . It’s sitting in my garage . All these shops are busy around here so gonna have to wait a couple of weeks .

Actually, it DOES say in the rules on page 1 your run, your time slip, your quarter-mile pass, members are invited to submit his/her times, so it's very clearly the member's time that is being solicited.

As far as tuner times posted instead of being done by the actual member, agree that has been done, I do know of one lying sack of shit who submitted a tuner time as if he was the one who did it. At that time it was mentioned in another thread that some other liars were already in the list, but their identities were hidden by those in the know. This stuff is supposed to be by honor system, so these lying sacks of shit, with their obvious lack of honor, do put something of a stain on the list. To be clear, I'm not applying the liar badge to Duramcr1 at this time, because he already admitted in this thread that the best timeslip was done by a smaller person (not by him).

Thanks for the reply; good points. I'm not going to split hairs or argue this point too much because I, too, noticed that word "your". That could imply your car, your entry fee, you signed the tech card, you were driving, it is a Gen6 Camaro ..... Just would be better if it were all spelled out. Off topic, but maybe related is what is a FBO car in the first place. Could be a completely gutted tin can on wheels weighing 2800 lbs. as of right now. There are a lot of different opinions. How do you end up with well defined, generally accepted rules in something that had its beginnings in grudge racing? Probably impossible. I know what I would "like" for purposes of fast lists. Start with the NHRA Street Legal rules and go from there. Licensed, inspected, street legal. The power adder guys are having similar discussions about TH400 and PG transmissions. Is it a still a Gen6 Camaro if it has one of these??? Don't ask me, all I know for sure is these are amazing cars and loads of fun.

Wnta1ss, I have video of the 3 fastest passes . It’s not rocket science . My car only has 3000 miles, I would never strip it . Pulled the swaybar , seats, lightweight battery, dragpak, all that Is worth 200lbs or maybe a little more . That’s as far as I’m going for weight reduction . No reason why any other car should not be goiing just as fast . I have no secrets . I’ve told almost everybody that asks me my combination. I tell people to pull the sway bar and aluminum pan to make the car weight transfer better and most don’t listen. Anyway I wasn’t aware of the rules . Sorry about breaking them.

Seems that you misunderstood me to some extent. I just thought that you might not have read the rules yet, and you are confirming that was the case. Check out first post on page 1 of this thread. However, if you think that I was questioning how quick your car went, that was not the case. Your own race weight of 3650 is pretty decent from my perspective, because my SS was probably somewhere around ~3785 when I went 10.88 with a completely-stock exhaust system, a few bolt-ons, and the stock torque converter. Weight difference can be explained by some factors, first, supposedly the LT1 starts out 66 lb lighter than the SS. Second, I did not remove any suspension or body parts (added a driveshaft loop in fact, few extra lbs) and I was probably pushing the driver's seat down even harder than you were. Third, your drag pack and battery might be somewhat lighter than the ones that I had. Lastly, long tubes probably save a few pounds from stock exh manifolds and 4 stock cats. So from a technical perspective, understandable.

idk about that. i replaced the complete stock exhaust on my car with 2" long tubes and custom 3" exhaust. the car weighed the same before and after bolt ons.

My C7 was 45 lbs lighter after I replaced the Stock exhaust MF and cats with 1 7/8 Speed Engineering Long tubes/xpipe. I did not replace the rest of the exhaust. Going from the 2" to 3" pipe plus the larger diameter LTs just didn't let you achieve your goal of losing some weight.

I noticed a surprising number of aftermarket converters on the Fast Lists. Any idea which ones are most popular in mod'd ZL1 A10?

Great pass Murph but I think you wasted your money on the that converter. I believe you could have run just as fast or faster with the stock converter. Dam wicked pass my Maggie friend. Congrats
