Key fobs not working

The batteries were good but I replaced anyway. Both fobs having same issue. Placed a tester on it for fuses etc but all was good.

Is there a sensor on the car that receives the signal from the fob or something else I can try? I don't feel it's the fob since both are having the same issue.

Thanks

The sensor is near the cup holder in the console. The manual says put the fob in one of the cup holders and see if that works.

What is the exact issue you're having? Can't unlock the door? Remote unlock? Remote start? Start the car? .... ??

Key fob

I am able to unlock manually and place fob in cup holder to start.

I cannot remote start, lock or unlock. Sometimes I'm able to lock and unlock but not very often. I removed the end of door handle to unlock the door. Get message often that remote is not found.

Thx for your input. Hope we come up with something.

Sounds like a trip to the stealership will be in order.

See this post which has a TSB attached that may be related: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showp...&postcount=154

OMG. I hope not. Out of warranty. Thx for your feedback.

I learned a lesson researching this. I always checked for recalls but never searched for TSB while under warranty.

Now I gotta figure out how to install it without going to dealership.

Thanks again.

I don't think you can DIY... It requires not just installation of the components but flashing of firmware as well. I don't know that there's a way to do the software update.

Maybe you could convince them to cover it under the drivetrain or emissions coverage? If you can't start it, you can't drive it.
