Upper Dashpad Treatment

What is the best way to clean and treat the upper dash pad on a 2012 Camaro? I noticed its starting to look faded and blotchy in some areas. I have heard bad things about Armor All. I use a product from Chemical Guys VRP on the tires but have not yet tried it on interior pieces. I love the VRP for the tires.

What products have others used on dash pads that are not too greasy? I prefer a factory look, not shiny.

If you have faded places this is likely "bleaching", caused by UV rays from the sun.
There isn't any product that will remove this.
The VRP is fine on the interior.
You'll want to clean the areas you apply it to first.
The best product I've used for cleaning is Ultima Interior Shampoo Gel for normal cleaning.
For protection, Carpro Perl and Ultima Interior Guard are both very good.
Neither leave a shiny look, but Perl is darker.

^^^ this, I beleive O' Reiley's Auto Parts sells a good one. Couple of my friends has them in their Camaros, and they have the HUD in the dash, looks pretty nice. I'm going to get one as well..

Thanks thats good advice. I dont think the upper dashpad has ever been treated on this car except maybe a damp rag.

Thoroughly clean the area with Adam's Leather & Interior Cleaner
https://adamspolishes.com/products/a...terior-cleaner
Then follow up with either his Leather Conditioner for a satin sheen
https://adamspolishes.com/products/a...or-conditioner
or
Adam's Leather & Interior Dressing for a nice matte finish
https://adamspolishes.com/products/a...erior-dressing
I'll maintain weekly with a quick wipe down with one of his many different scented Interior Detailers.

Thanks, and that's with it being a 120,000 mile daily driver. Use the right products correctly and that's what you'll get!
