Just note to this great thread.
The negative path of a circuit carries as much current as the positive path. Also, the longer the cable the more resistance it will have Keep that in mind when ordering your cables. |

Added an additional ground cable to help with the slow crank/hot engine issue...
Bought the cable from BatteryCablesUSA, 21" 0 Gauge (1/0), 3/8" connectors (M10): $12.81 + $3.97 shipping = $16.78 + $3.18 at Home Depot for a new bolt, nuts and washers... Total: $19.96 installed, took about 10 minutes...

OMG. I just ordered the cable from BatteryCablesUSA, and paid for shipping. Then after I got the tracking number, I noticed... BATTERYCABLESUSA IS IN MY HOMETOWN!!! I could've driven over and picked it up that day!!!

wow and to think I was just starting to like the slow start lol
Has anyone who done this had the dash voltage issues like bouncing rpm gauge prior to install and after it goes away? |
