3.8 on the street. Stock car (other than CAI and Exhaust), factory tires, and without feathering the throttle or any special preparation.

I'm pretty confident my 0-60 is somewhere around 7+ seconds. I have absolutely no traction.

Just got my Camaro at the end of January so I haven't had a chance to drive it in good conditions yet. Best time so far was 6.4s with the V6 at -26C/-15F with all season tires.

No mods, all season tires, trac control on, not using launch control, track mode, slid a bit at the start and trac control kicked in- 4.4 seconds. Just tried for fun, i'll start messing around with setup etc when I get my summer tires on.
How do the NT555R's do in the rain? Nitto says they are OK in the rain, but I have my doubts. Depending on where you are in CA, I will DEFINITELY be getting more rain than you LOL. Last edited by RyanR623; 03-27-2019 at 02:52 PM. |

5.7 is the only picture i could find of my v6 0-60. ...was back in may 2016, so before my trifecta tune and cai/exhaust etc... stock everything. Maybe had a drop-in K&N filter at the time. Stock crap runflats on a normal 80 degree dry day.
I stopped trying to time it since then. socal traffic is so slow off of lights that you'll be waiting for people even if you take 10+ seconds to reach 60. And merging onto highways only seems to require speed if nobody is in front of you, otherwise they seem to think it's good to merge at 40 when traffic moves at 80. speed is frustratingly irrelevant more and more. |

Probably 10+ seconds. If I slam on the gas from a dig the only thing that happens is me spinning around to face the other way.

0-60
Using launch control I've gotten 4.4 spinning a lot on a crappy surface (basically the only safe place near by for my timed runs), I'm sure on a decent surface I can cut that a tenth or two. However just slipping the clucth off idle or up to 1500 rpm I can consistently get 4.5. Not super fast but I'm happy with it considering how easy I'm launching. Easy on the drivetrain and tires.

Great question and good timing, similar question is on my mind. I'll do a separate thread/question for that (eg what mods beyond engine has anyone done to improve the 0-60 or 1/4 times, for street time.)
To your question, I have 2018 A8, and have only tried about 4 times so far. 4.4 was best, regardless of launch control or punch it. Go to try manual on the pedal to see if I can do any better. Read some threads of folks turning off TC and going 'manual' when at the strip and saying they get good 60' times. |

I just pulled a 0 - 60 of 5.3 sec. with TC on, 45 degree ambient temps, only mods are a K&N CIA and MRT V2 axle back. Car is a '17 V6 A8 'Vert. Not too shabby!
