Exhaust opinions!
Hey guys I just got a 19 1SS I was wondering what would be a good set up to make it sound more aggressive and loud, but nothing crazy.
Thank you |

Kooks 1-7/8" headers without cats & Borla ATAK axle back mufflers, but will require a tune.

What are your plans with the car? I would almost always recommend starting with the headers first. It’ll give you much more volume and power. However, you’ll need a tune, which will void your warranty. So as long as you’re ok with that, that’s the route I’d go. If you’re trying to keep your warranty, then pretty much any axle back system will suffice to make your car louder. Exhaust is extremely subjective so, listen to systems you are interested in online and then try to find someone in person with that setup.

Secondary cat delete would be the next level of sound increase, either gut the cats or buy a cat delete pipe. Then it's money time. Cat back or axle back. Neither is cheap. Or you can do headers, which usually requires a tune, and will probably void warranty, but will be the only real one of these mods that will give you sound and power. If you are ever considering headers, do them first. I've seen many times people get a cat back that they like the sound, then do headers and it becomes way too loud/rowdy/raspy. Many times headers with the factory exhaust sounds the best, sometimes not and you still need some sort of cat back. My plan is long tubes with the factory NPP, and that's it for the exhaust. Proven combo.

Do you have NPP on your car now? Like mentioned above headers are a great start if you are willing to go that route. They will increase the volume and add power as the same time. From there you can add more volume or a different sound with an exhaust system.
If you don't want to do headers there are plenty of options out there. We carry most of them and always have discounts for forum members with code CAMARO6. A few of our top sellers would be Borla, Corla and Solo but what kind of sound are you looking for? We can find something that suits your taste. |

Either Legato, or Flowmasters. Everything else is way over priced.

Here's mine.
Just plain 'ol $100 cutouts before the NPP. I close them when I want quiet. https://www.instagram.com/p/Bls_1aun...d=hnft1xat4g8t |

AWE-tuning Touring exhaust. Very agressive under throttle and quiet/ drone free at cruising speeds.

I went with a full cat back from Borla
Part # 60609 (You have a 1LE so you need either 60606 or 60607) Part # 11925
