5'9 and 150 lbs, have had both the regular and Recaro seats, regular seats are really uncomfortable on longer trips specially in the back, the Recaros are more comfortable, breathable, and hug you better

I totally agree!! The only issue is the larger bolster makes it a little harder to get in and out. They are very comfortable.

Agree
I've had two gen6 2SS without Recaros and now a 2SS 1LE with them.

The Recaros are more comfortable and I immediately noticed they breath better. They definitely hug you better.

I'm 6'-4" and 205 lbs. They feel great

Get the recaros?
Are they just a nice cover or a better seat?
Seems like a great value for the price
My ZL1 has them and I love them, so...

OP, the Camaro Recaros are the bomb. They are the most comfortable performance seats I have ever sat in. And after driving my ZL1 on a long trip they are all day seats. Get them. I did on my LT1.

Definitely spend the extra money on the Recaros. Worth the $1500.

Great point!

I drove my Hot Wheels 2SS M6 900 mile in 13.5 hours, dropped it off as trade, and drove back the next morning in the 2SS 1LE M6. Also straight threw in 13.5 hours

The back of my left thigh felt tingly numb in the Hot Wheels. The Recaros …no problem

I really like the Recaros.

As far as size goes, the side bolsters may get a bit snug if you're much above coat size 46.

I have them in my LT1 as I wanted the leather upgrade from my 1LT. They are great and I do not sweat in them.

Being an old guy with back issues, I can say that the Recaros are the most comfortable seats that I've ever had. I would not hesitate to get them.
oops, I just noticed that this post is from 2021. I guess the OP has already made up his mind!
