How to turn off tilting mirrors?

When going to settings I go to comfort and convenience and all I get is the chime volume. How to access turning the tilting mirrors off?

You didn't specify the trim and model year of your Camaro, but if you have a 2016-2018 car with the 8-speed automatic transmission, sometimes a few options are missing from this screen due to a software bug when using remote start.

The options you are supposed to see in that menu are Auto Memory Recall, Easy Exit Options, Chime Volume and Reverse Tilt Mirror, the one you're after. I'd try to start the car from inside and then check if these options show up.

It's a 2017 ZL1 and since owning it for 3 weeks I've never used the remote start feature.

If you are referring to the reverse tilt function go to “Vehicle Personalization”

I started on pg 46 about the mirrors that then referenced pg 153 which says go to settings/vehicle and then referenced the mirrors coming up after the chime. Nothing showing in display after chimes.

Apologize for the confusion

This is on page 147 of my 2017 manual,

Comfort and Convenience
Select and the following may display:
. Auto Memory Recall
. Easy Exit Options
. Chime Volume
. Reverse Tilt Mirror

Hope this helps!

Following MAY appear. I guess it means it MAY not? Cuz mine only shows chime volume.

My local Chevy dealer in this small town would probably charge me $125 to tell me he has no idea???

One moment. I will go to my car right now and tell you exactly where I see it.

Poor car, probably sad I turned it on and back off without going anywhere.

Anyway I went to settings, comfort and convenience and right under Chime Volume was the Reverse Tilt.

If you don't see it there then you don't have it I guess.

I would consider pulling a battery terminal for a possible reset. That menu should also have the auto seat options.

Definitely an easy swing at correcting it with a battery pull.

Also check for any software updates on the car. The radio in my car would stay on even after I exited the car and closed / locked the door. Updating the software fixed this so that the radio turns off once the driver's door is opened (after turning the car off).

This is an interesting article from C/R about quick resets for infotainment systems.
