I think someone here did paint their HBM with Yellow G2 and it looked pretty sharp, can't find that thread but I remember everyone liked it.

Awesome! Yeah I really like the yellow. I think the red looks great but I just want mine to be unique and I don't see yellow very often out there so I may go for that.

I think both the yellow & red really look good with the hyper blue car. Can't go wrong with either choice there!

Sorry to revive old thread but has anyone painted their calipers silver on a Hyper Blue Camaro? I’m on the fence and I’d like to see if anyone has done it and wouldn’t mind sharing a pic before I pull the trigger.

I REALLY want some red calipers but can't justify ~$250 on some caliper covers. The paint seems like a much better option. On my old car I used a high heat spray paint and they lasted pretty well overall, but they don't like new anymore after not that much driving. I have to clean them often, and after a while you can't tell their red unless you look for them.

Im okay with painting them myself, but I don't want to have to keep doing it like I should have with my old car. Its just not worth it to me personally. Maybe one day ill go with those covers. Or perhaps this paint if I see some long term reviews of it.

Please don't do the caliper covers - they are so cheap and fake looking. My G2 paint is holding up very well. I have over 2 years and 15 k miles on the paint and the calipers look as good as the day I painted them. I wouldn't hesitant to use G2 again if the need ever came up.

Just saw my Camaro that I sold to friend in '13, I did the G2 on them and about 40,000 miles later, they still look great. Just super prep clean the caliper with brush and solvent and dont use the g2 brush, it's junk.

Did everyone that posted G2 pics use the RED option or is that Orange?

i only ask because I've seen some local guys paint their calipers(no idea what they used), but their calipers look more maroon than red for some reason. I really like the bright red that Chevy paints their calipers with, so anything close to that would be great...that or going with something like a bright green or yellow lol

G2 makes several different colors..
