What year is the best looking Camaro?
Maybe it's just me but I still think the original design of the 2010 Camaro's are the best looking. All of the plastic upfront on the new 2019 looks kind of cheap and way over done to me. None of the cars after the original has made me think that I have to have it. The original design was so different compared to any other car on the road and still the best looking!

I fell in 'love at first sight' with the 5th gen Camaro back when I first saw it mid last decade. I was truly floored, head over heels, absolutely stricken... No other car to this day has done what this car did to me and its going to take a lot for that to happen again... perhaps will not even happen in my lifetime... especially now that I see that GM really needs better 'artists'... a sad day for me right now. I really am concerned about the 7th gen... :(
What year is best? Nah, not going to go there... a 5th gen, that's what 'year' is best if I had to answer. When I finally got mine, it was one of the happiest days ever... I knew now that I would have the funds to upgrade it to my liking, contrary to before when I owned my 4th gens and money was a lot tighter. Its been all downhill from day one, cruising and loving the ride more and more with each passing day. Today, its beyond what it was on day 1... not so much better, because to me it was already the best when I bought it, but I would say better for me more to fit my taste and style. I drive it not just to get from point a to point b... but often just drive it just to drive it. That's love... Our 5th gen will be remembered as a masterpiece of post y2k engineering and automotive beauty. |

Maybe I'm partial but I have to agree I hang out with all years at the local Car Shows and although they're Beautiful I still prefer the Back and Front of mine.
(ok I would take a new ZL1 Power Plant and interior, and...) Had mine at a local show yesterday with some newer Camaro's and I still feel I show well

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my 2010 SS especially now that I have the GM ground effects and a ZTA spoiler on it. However, the absolute best looking year was the 1969 Camaro. I'd take one in a heartbeat even though my 2010 SS would stomp all over most if not all of the 1969's.

I couldn't decide on a 69 or a 2010 so I bought them both

Agree with other's, 1969 is the best year when talking strictly looks; the 2010-2013's place a close 2nd in my book.

I love my '14 but to my eye the '67 is still the best - love the look with the classic vent window in front and it's unmarred by the ugly side marker lights that were required by law starting in '68.

It's subjective but my overall favorites in order of preference are the following:
1. 1970 SS/RS 2. 2015 SS/RS/CE 3. 2019 SS/RS 4. 1989 IROC-Z 5. 1981 Z28 |
