Yeah it's a tube frame, fiberglass body, NASCAR/Bush Truck Series type of Silverado...

Track = Calabogie Motorsports Park, Calabogie, Ontario, Canada
Camaro Model = 2017 SS 1LE
Elapsed Time = 2:20.51
Date = Sept. 29, 2019
Tires = Stock Goodyears
Mods = Motul RBF600 | Track Alignment

What a ridiculous car. Haven't been to the track in a couple of years and this was my first time out in the 1LE. Felt comfortable with it almost immediately which I was surprised at because my previous track car was a BRZ. There was a nicely spec'd McLaren Senna out that day as well

That's a tremendous lap - congrats!!! Do you have a vid of it? Would love to see it to help me next season

PS Interesting: when my timer stops to display a laptime it turns grey. When it is bright white it is still counting. Did ya just take a pic of the vid, or did something else? Thx!

Thanks! I'm sure ~2:17 is possible with one of the regulars at Calabogie. This car is insanely quick.

I paused the video when the lap timer stopped and was flashing if that makes sense. Here's a pic of the Cosworth fastest lap.

No problem, I'll upload a video of that session if you'd like. I'll PM you and explain where and what I did wrong too if that helps. I'm still a little rusty and it showed in a couple of places.

Yeah when the timer flashes it then freezes for a couple of seconds and changes color to signify a final laptime.
Lest it is not much of a verification, not that i would expect any racing type to ever cheat, eh? Lol!

But on a serious note, the vid would be awesome, so would be a PM: much appreciated in advance!

The fastest ive seen in a "regular" car was a 2:16 by Craig (OneMoreLap) in his cammed C5 which won him tons of GT Challenge races. I stayed with him for one lap once in my Vette, but then he was gone! But he was sponsored by Hoosier and ran fresh rubber

Ive run there earlier this season with 2 hot shoes from LCMT (Nik in his 2019 M4 CS and Phil in his brand new 1le - both senior instructors with Quebec Bimmer Club), we were pretty equal and i dont believe neither if us broke a 23...so...a 20 is FRIGGING AWESOME!!!

PS the car is awesome, but the insanely quick is the driver here

A racer cheating? C'mon.....

Ah, so you know Greg! That's who I was thinking of when I figured it could go under 20. Maybe ~2:17 is overly ambitious then lol.

Keep in mind I had an open track and weather was perfect.... probably around 10 degrees and sunny. If you were running in 30+ degrees I'm assuming that wouldn't help.

PM is coming...
