This MKZ and the new Continental are ok signs that the company is moving in the right direction. Baby steps.
But, one must not forget that they are indeed just waypoints on Lincoln's path. The next move come in the shape of Navigator and then the implementation of the D6 platform. These are all steps that the company needs to make. As slow and painstaking as it may be, it would be unreasonable to expect them to churn or MB competitors immediately. They're doing amazing on the customer service side,,now they can focus on the product side of the equation. Can't wait to see this division in about 10 years time.

I think a great looking Lincoln with 400 HP, 400 lb-ft of torque & AWD is pretty damn impressive. If I could afford it, I'd get one in a heartbeat.

I'd much rather have a CTS-Vsport over that. And I don't particularly want a CTS-Vsport.

That's a pretty solid power output.
Should be interesting to see how many variants Ford really makes of their twin-scroll and twin-turbod v6 motors. I can already think of 6 or 7 since they introduced the first gen 3.5 in trucks and the SHO.

Plus, remember now the Fusion has the same basic engine as an option, with less power yes, but testing has shown it to be nearly just as quick as the Fusion is a little lighter. Also, now the new Platinum trim on the Fusion is pretty much just as as nice as the Lincoln including a leather dashboard and nice patterns on the seats and such. That might mean something, if the Lincoln brand still had any cachet to it.
