Question before I buy my catch can

I plan on using FI in the future, so I will be getting the dual valve RX catch can. I was wondering if the "Performance Breather Oil Fill Cap" is neccessary/what it did.

The breather cap keeps oil vapors from getting into the intake from the tube that runs from the right side valve cover to the intake tube..... I think...

If you're going to buy from RX, I extremely suggest you buy it from a private seller, I'm over 2 months in on my wait time from them...
