I hope they fix it. But, I didn't trust them enough to keep makin' payments on the one I had.

I had the new fluids for the Q1 2019 fix done about 4 weeks ago. It's been about 1500 miles since and the shudder is still completely gone. I was getting the shudder only in drive, in 4th & 8th gear, and only in V4 mode. I have been driving it more than usual just to try and push it to do it again and it seems to be corrected. I was very skeptical this would fix it but seems to have done so. I'm still holding off on tuning the transmission for another 10k miles or so to make sure it holds up.

I have no shudder any more but I'm definitely noticing the car driving different. Transmission feels like it's shifting at different points and the low to high change is always jerky

Mine is running like a scalded dog! No shuddering and the shift points seem precise yet smooth as butter. Now if I put my foot in it as I’ve been doing a lot lately, the car goes into ‘Performance Mode’ quick and it $hits & Gets! I’m just going to keep driving it like I stole it and see how it holds up.

I had it done yesterday and so far there are no issues. The shudder is gone. I have only driven it less than 20 miles since the flush was completed but I have my fingers crossed.

They weren't aware of the issue as they haven't had any Camaro owners say anything about it. I find it strange.

You wont have the shudder unless you are in 8th and cruising, then slightly rolling into the gas without it downshifting.

The shuddering is from lugging the engine.

My shuddering occurred when I would take off from a stop and get to cruising and I’d feel it. It was always around 44-55 MPH and I only felt it twice on the freeway.

incorrect. you can feel the shudder from 6th up. It's not from lugging the engine.

the shudder is from the low pressure pump not being able to hold the t/c locked. The tcm allows some spin, which when happens, the high pressure pump locks the t/c back down. this happens multiple times in succession, and the transition between them causes the shudder.

that's why tuning out the slip tables (allowing no slip at all) sometimes fixes the issue.

this could be a faulty t/c, or faulty fluid. At this point, fingers have been pointed at both.

the reason it seems more prominent in v4 mode and the transition to and from, is because the tcm is programmed to allow more slip during those events.

Agreed, although I never felt it at highway speed.

i had the TC replaced, fluid flushes, and the latest TSB... I still felt weird vibrations. I traded the car in last night for a 2019 M6.

So Yeti6, on your Camaro the newest TSB "18-NA-355" (TSB with new oil from Q1/2019) does NOT fix the problem?

Are there any other`s , where even the latest TSB dosn`t fix the shudder issue?

I just had the latest flush done along with the new revised torque converter. No more shudder, but I do sense a very small vibration when giving it light throttle. Nothing that I can't handle or is to annoying, but it is just ever so slightly noticeable. The only way to know it's really there is to let off the gas then compare it coasting without throttle vs on the throttle. Not sure what to make of this yet. Maybe a better description would be almost a grainy type feeling vs a vibration if that makes sense

Hey Guys,

Tons of great information about the A8 Shudder, I have been having that issue for some time now. I took it the dealer their response we can not recreate the problem so the car is fine. I printed out the TSB-NA-355 and spoke to a GM rep and they told me without the recreating of the issue they could not help. I am very frustrated to say the least, what suggestions might you guys have to try and get this issue fixed? Obviously it is an issue that this transmission has and needs to be addressed.
