OMG YOUR KNEE WILL HIT THE KEY AND TURN THE CAR OFF AT HIGH SPEED CAUSING YOU TO LOSE CONTROL AS YOUR STEERING LOCKS UP DISABLING YOUR AIRBAG AND KILLING YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY

uh no. haven't had it done. signed off rejecting the fix long ago. did nothing to stop the GM legal department from urging me to turn in those keys.

Car & Driver or Road & Track mentioned the switchblade key in one of their articles and said there were numerous deaths from it.

2013 Keyfob recall

Never been back to the dealership with my car for anything including making my keys slam against the dash and wheel. 6 footer track/ autocross a lot no issues. YET !
Literally a knee jerk reaction to a few people having issues

Never been a knee turned car off. It didn't happen. I just drove an Equinox of a friend of mine. Same switchblade. I think it was a 16 or 17.
It's total BS.
Pry mine from my cold dead ignition.

If the switchblade is the reason for my death then I guess it was just my time to go.

This recall is one that will never be done.

Bought my car with the recalled keys. The remote was rubbing on my knee the whole time driving. Converted it back to switchblade and my knee couldn't be happier.

The recall was done before I bought the car used so I reversed it myself on one set and left the other alone. Really easy to do and it's held up for 2 years so I'm not worried about it

Those people if true should have never been in a Camaro in the first place.
