For the most part because of the limited time you have to inject fuel in a DI system.

.99-1.0 lambda is fine at part throttle but way too lean at WOT.

Perfectly fine for an NA build. I knew something sounded fishy…

Mainly stock cam stuff...Some cam cars can get away with higher ipw's. Even then I ran my car @ 6.0-6.2 for a couple seasons, and it was fine. Would I tune somebody else's car that way, No. There is no wiggle room left for weather change, but I always log my car when temps get colder and reduced E content if need be to keep IPW's in range. If I am tuning a car, I try to keep them under 5.8ms. That is one thing that is never really discussed...most tuning is done in warmer weather. When the weather gets colder fuel system demand will go up...especially on E. DI stuff has a much tighter window then PI. Just a 20 degree change in weather can really effect high side fueling. NA stuff however normally isn't as critical as FI.

Another discussion about this subject, fuel pressure table in newer cars having ZL1 settings (higher pressure as power goes up than the older SS tune had). See here https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=605150

This might explain the higher fuel pressure that some guys are interpreting as evidence that the ZL1 pump is in there. Guy with a 2019 SS found that despite having a ZL1 fuel table, the actual pump in his tank was just an SS pump.

Good info

Reminds me of when GM equipped the 01-02 Fbodies with the LS6 manifold and clutch

If I ever really start pushing the fuel system I’ll probably get an analog fuel pressure sensor, temp connect inline after the flex fuel sensor, and buy the MPVI3 to run a signal in to data log. Only way I know to do it.
Ok so today I played with the log for low side pressure. I deleted the channel fuel pressure sae. Then mover it up toward the top about half way and it is working much much better. When it drops out its only a second then it reads again. Fingers crossed.

So heres a question. I just got a set of the lt4 injectors with the hpfp. Would the stock low side with the voltage booster help any. Im at e60 right now with the stock system so I need about 25% more I think. Probly wishfull thinking but any input would be very helpful.

I think it would help some and you can turn up the voltage on your low side pump, JMS will help. King is really good with this fueling so he'll probably have some comments.

I haven't tried a JMS on a LT1 low side pump, but I bet it will help. I can't answer if it will be enough for your setup.

I have tried upping fuel pump voltage in the tune and it doesn't seem to respond over 15.5 volts even though you can set it higher. With the JMS we can get to 17.2 volts with no issues.

That would be my starting point either way. Go to the tune and set the fuel pump voltage to LT4 15.5 volts from about 190 lb/hr on up and then set minimum voltage to 12.5 from 11 and see if that helps if you haven't already done so. Then if you need more get the JMS or look at other options such as LT4, Hellcat, Aux, Fore...etc.

Thanks Guys I guess I will start their. I just really dont want to drop the tank. I have a quick jack(love that jack btw) but taking the brace off the bottom may or may not be possible on a quick jack. Either way its alot of work to drop the tank.

Why does not any one do an inline pump making the low side a lift pump? Is it because its a use type pump no flow back to the tank I guess?

O and yes I have already done the voltage settings. I caint tell it helped at all. The pump is doing 400lpm flow at max.
