[QUOTE=1LEornothing;11210632]LT1s came out for the 2020 model year and were first built in Q3 2019. I have one of the first LT1s ever produced.

King, I truly hope you are correct about the LT1 having the ZL1 low side pump from the factory. That would be some of the best news I've heard concerning the 6th gen in a long time and would REALLY simplify my fuel system upgrade for the blower. I hope someone who knows for certain can chime in and lay down the facts for us.[/QUOT

You can use your vin and call your local dealer and they can tell you the part number on your pump. That's what I did if it is it sure has a different part number then the SS or ZL1. The convertible has another part number so who really knows. I'm about to find out on the dyno in a few weeks.

Please let us know, I know we have different model years, but it sounds probable that all LT1s come with the same low side pump.

My 2019 SS did NOT have the ZL1 pump. I was hoping it did as there was conflicting info online. Called dealer gave them the VIN and they gave me the part#. Was correct when I pulled it. I do not know about 20+ though.

Could have changed in 2020. Not sure

I think King mentioned he thought it did have it, I can call my local dealer and probably find out that way also in having them look up the part number on the pump. I was thinking in 2019 GM started putting the Zl1 in all the new 6.2 Camaro's.
Hey laynlo, when I had my 2021 LT1 dyno tuned at Jannetty Racing and tuned on E85, he watches fuel pressure and all the important things during each pull carefully. He was surprised at the fueling not dropping off and he indicated Chevrolet must have up graded the fuel pump to me.

Boy that would be good news if it turns out to be the case. Hopefully Laynlo can verify for us when he gets his blower set up on the dyno. Happy days if all LT1 trims come factory equipped with LT4 low side. LT4 injectors and LT4 high side are butter to install for a DIY.

Not doing the Lt4 HPFP or the Lt4 injectors. Doing the toohighpsi port injection. Can run off the stock Lt1 fuel system as long as the low side can keep up. Also going to run the JMS V2.

Plus the 10 rib setup

I hope Ted is right, fingers crossed.

Hold on, your bolt-on LT1 making 440 STP on the dyno with E85 does not mean that your car has an LT4 low side pump from the factory. MANY guys using bolt-ons (SS/LT1) have made 4xx on E85 with stock LT1 fuel systems, so I'm not surprised that yours did too. Meaning, your combo did not put enough strain on your low side pump to really know whether your car has the normal LT1 pump or the ZL1 pump.

Mine made 436/441 and that was on the stock Lt1 fuel system and the low side stayed right at 68 psi. That doesn't mean it has the Lt4 or Lt1 low side. Ted may or may not be correct, but I sure wouldn't bet on it just because it didn't drop on the dyno.

Comparison from my C7 and Camaro Lt1 on the logs, no BS

So I pulled logs from my C7 and Camaro and found these results on low side PSI

C7 Corvette-6667 rpms the low side desired was 73 psi, actual was 48 psi on the dyno and logs at the track
Mods are- Msd ported IM, Ported 95mm TB, SE long tubes and x pipe, E60 plus
High side desired was 2500 and actual was 2661

Lt1 Camaro-6660 rpms the desired low side was 73 psi, actual was 68 psi on the dyno and logs at the track
Mods are-Lt2 Ported IM, Stock 95mm TB, Rotofab CAI, E60 plus, everything else is stock.
Desired High Pressure was 2611 and actual was 2615

Now these cars both have the same Lt1 High Side but, this tells me that the Camaro probably has the bigger in tank pump since there is 20 psi difference in the Low Side.
Makes sense to me and that's what I think Ted meant when he said the low side was not dropping off like it normally would on E.

Ted does a ton of dyno pulls on LT1 cars under all circumstances. He specifically mentioned chevrolet must have upgraded the LT1 fuel pump as he looked at and talked about how the car maintained fuel PS1 noticeably better than he normally sees.

Im guessing u use hp tuners to monitor the low side. Can u tell me what channel u use as mine shows then drops out randomly.

Yes I do, I probably 200 logs or more between my 16 SS, C7 and my new Camaro. I can't upload the log but here are a couple screen shots from my C7 and Camaro.Name: 20220806_093544.jpg
