Again i know that setup already i was asking what Tyler's setup was last time when they were running low 13s so i could potentially compare where I've been doing consistent 13.2s with bolt-ons and 20" Street Tires

The 11.97 setup ran 12.40s on 285 rear street tires and stock front tires. They were goodyear eagle f1 supercar g2

the setup i listed a few posts above, is the setup that was at CF8. keep in mind, the 17 TCM being stock literally wouldnt allow the car to launch under ANY boost. it was literally launching at like 2500 RPM high idle, and crawling out at least the first 30 feet. This was also not tuned, outside of a quick "here this will work to get it going" flash that we put on it. a one-and-done "1.0 file".

sorry, I didn't think that was malicious. It was the only version we've ran fbo without internals or slicks. I felt that was your best piece to compare to. I stated tires because they weren't stock size or compound.

No it wasn't malicious just wasn't on the subject at the time or worded right to be. So 12.4s ET was your Street time before cams, forged and slicks that's right in line with the only other person as far along in the build who actually races. That's actually good information to have for anyone racing to get an idea of where they should be or around with given mods and powerband. Were you running EJuice on your 12.4? Just curious.

I'll check my slip when i get home tonight. I'm pretty sure my best was a 1.85s 60' but i believe my best ET run was a 1.90s 60' on the 20" wheels and street tires. Trying out drag radials this weekend now that the tune has been adjusted for tire size etc. So far I've gotten the car to do consistent 13.2 runs in shitty 80+ degree heat and ridiculously high humidity. You know the type where your sitting in a soup of your own sweat and your hair looks like you just got out of the shower when you take the helmet off. So I'm looking forward to October weather.

you'll love sticky tires. should easily take a couple 1/10ths off your 60's, which will be good for .500 in the long run

im familiar with that weather....it was over 100 degrees with about 8000% humidity at camaro fest. literally the most miserable i have ever been at a drag strip LOL. i look forward to your drag radial update!

2.0t ....did you have to do anything special for the fuel pump? Going to start branching towards a similar build but trying to get a game plan on what's required / cost

the ZL1 pump swap requires slight modifications to the fuel level sensor to mount, and i believe a little grinding, but its all pretty straight forward stuff. no major fabrication, or anything "too special" needed to make the hybrid canister.

As Steve mentioned, the car has never been properly tuned for a good full pass at the track. The car has intake, downpipe, catback, intercooler, pistons, rods, cams, springs, and is on BC Coils. Since getting the engine back together earlier this summer it's never had a proper tune, especially without the TCM being tuned. For the longest time it wasn't tuned for the cams, and after Matt tossed a file on there to account for the cams the car is totaly different. I dropped the ball and took forever to get the TCM out to HPTuners, but now that it's finally back we'll get a good 93 tune on there, and hopefully Matt can work his magic with the trans.

I'm so excited to see what Matt can do with the TCM unlocked. Even on the streets you can feel the ECU/TCM fighting how much torque is requested etc.

Next week I'm hoping to get out to the local test and tune, with it all dialed in, and on Steve's slicks I'd like to go mid 12s. I'll admit though I haven't ever done any serious drag racing, I'm more of a road course guy.

We also finally have some 8 heat range plugs, so when we're trying to build boost on the line we won't melt plugs like we have in the past.

Gotcha and I'm guessing a ZZP tune would be required? Or would it be all good

A larger supply/low pressure pump does not require any tuning.
