Moving to Texas! DFW

Excited is all I can say! Moving there next week to start my transition into civilian world! Excited for my new chapter of life as I just had a newborn and moving closer to the wife's family in DFW! Looking forward to the car life and hoping my car goal of having ADM throw on a LSA conversion kit works out for me! Can't wait to get to Texas!

That is my plan. Not chasing money but just want to enjoy my life and watch my daughter grow up.

As of right now looking into white settlement, burleson, weatherford area. I will be working at Carswell so looking to rent somewhere close by. Wife's family lives in weatherford and burleson. Problem is finding a decent place to rent that allows dogs and isn't expensive.

Welcome! Right now I live in Burleson. Only bad thing is rent for an apartment is super high but they're nice. I pay around $1100 for a one bedroom. Good luck!

!!!!!! $1100 for a one bedroom holy crap! I at least need two. Yea, rent here in Vegas is pretty decent, I live in a town house 2 car garage, backyard, 2 rooms and baths for $1k. Yikes, I need to keep looking around.

Welcome! (if I can say that ha, just moved to Dallas myself)

I currently have a set-up similar to what you have now (townhouse, 2 beds, 2.5 baths, 2 car garage, etc) and it wasn't easy to find. I never thought I would be saying this, but I would recommend getting a highly rated locator to help out. Moving to Dallas was the first time I have used a realtor service when not looking at homes and I am glad I did.

Now, I am in the city so I know what I am paying is robbery but I couldn't imagine what you are looking for would be any less than $1,400 a month
