Time to start modding: Want to add subs to existing BOSE system step in
Well I stepped into a 17' 2SS w/ a BLOSE system and like my C7 I feel it can use just a little more bottom end. It actually sounds much better then the BOSE systems I had in my C5's but I do tend to like some deep bass. Anyways I was super excited to see everything is in the trunk in regards to power, factory amp, etc...I added the JL 2 10" Corvette specific to my C7 and it was a piece of cake. Same setup. Only thing I had to run up front was the remote bass knob. In any case It looks like this project is going to be $650. Heres the shopping cart and questions:
Ebay 6th gen specific 2 12" box 2 12" Fosgate P2D4 subs Fosgate 1000 watt monoblock 4ga amp kit And this T harness or breakout https://www.ebay.com/itm/2016-2017-C...s/142906756586 Is this harness worth it. Seems a bit pricey. Are there less expensive options?

Nope as Steve has spent lots of time and money doing these harness. If your only looking to add a sub this would be the lowest cost I think, but understand it's not the best or lowest bass you can get using this harness.
If you wanted a much better SQ then add the NAV 650 GM about $850 or the new AmpPRO $420 this will provide the cleanest SQ possible from the head unit. But that would also need a 2nd 4 channel amp and DSP like the JL Twk D8. Christopher |

Thanks Christopher. Finishing up the lowering springs now and going to start on the system later today. Should be rather quick. The amp I bought doesn't have hi pass inputs so I ordered a cheap pac line converter. I will just connect it to this harness and that should provide me with my RCA's. Should be done tonight. LOL

ANC delete harness + T harness + Pac Line converter... where is the face palm emoji?
Just get the Ampro, get clean sound with a flat signal, don't need ANC delete harness, or the rest of the cheap contraptions people have come up with.
