I'm on the last leg of the stock Goodyears. Will be switching over to the Michelin in a couple of days.

Its been raining and cold here in southern Cali the last couple of days and my ZL1 is my daily driver. Left the wife the ZL1 and been taking the minivan to the office LOL (Wife only goes to pick up the kids at school 1/4 mile away and they just went on vacation so . . . )

Its scary on worn Goodyears. feel like I'm riding on ice . . .

:(

The PS4S will be a total relief. Slightly less dry traction, incredibly good wet/cold traction and hydroplaning resistance.

To be honest I've never really liked the Goodyears. In chilly weather I can nail the car at 40 and the back end comes out to play. Scary sh*t (Fun but scary )

Check out pilot sport as3+.

Available in 325/30 now. All season. Great street tire for non-track days.

Tire design is a couple years newer than ps4s, so performance drop is not as much as you’d think.

I just looked on discounttire.com... According to their website, you can have a set of P4S delivered to your door in 3 - 5 days.

You could try Continental Extreme Contact Sport tires on your ZE. They are comparable to the Michelin Super Sport tires and have a very good treadwear rating. Those maybe the ones that I have put on my ZL1 when the GYs are at the end of the road! My GYs are getting thin on tread but not completely bald which I won’t wait to replace them once that happens.

Steve,
I just relooked on discountire.com and it shows not available on the M PS4S.
I may be missing something...can you send the link where you saw them ?
Thanks,
Bill

I have been super happy with my 305/30R19 RE-71R's on the front with 355/30R19 ACR Kumho's on the rear for track and autocross work.

Bill, have you checked on Tire Rack’s website for the Michelins?

I went through a set of these tires on my old SS 1LE after a bunch of track days and daily driving, and getting a brand new set was HUUUUGE difference.

I have had enough close calls in cold rain on the highway that I am expecting to change to PILOT SPORT A/S 3+ since I will have no track time.
