Can you have NPP installed?

Hello all!

My car did not come with the upgraded NPP exhaust, I have a V6 M6 BTW. I don't have the cash now, but I would love to put this in later so I can select a loud exhaust for fun, and a quiet one for long road trips with the wife.

Is this something that I can add after the fact and have the drive modes control it just like it came from the factory?

No....in short....GM does not supply the software to make it work. Also, it is a solid piece from headers back so shipping is hard. GM makes a single mode perf exhaust for the v8 and v6. I have written about the V-6 performance exhaust here , which I mounted last week.
