No clue....never seen it before. I used a torx head socket to get it out. Wasn't exactly the correct fit but it worked.

Sometimes those were used on the bottom of the LFX intake manifold. There are a couple bits you could buy that might work, Triangle, or maybe a Tri-Groove...
I've stripped them out a couple times using a torx bit. Usually what I do is take a flat blade screw driver, put one end into the point on the triangle, and the other end will go into the slot. |

Thanks.....got it with a torx , but i will replace with hex stainless then flat black it soon....

A CR-V4 is the best fitting, non striping security bit to use.

Hah.. i just asked this question on the external/internal appearance mod forum. Trying to take my cover off to paint it and saw this bolt and was like....WTF.
