Forget the manual, the oil minder on the car runs the show now, but many change their oil at 500-1500 due to break in....

Do you do it yourself? What about the free service at the dealer?
My car computer says 95% engine oil life, at 260 miles......

Most use the dealer, I change my own. I've seen what even good techs can do to a car by mistake in service after working with dealers for 40 years. My car does not go to the dealer unless it's for warranty. I don't care about the free changes.You choose what's good for you.My home shop is set up for oil changes. With a valve it's a 10 min change.
