Brake rotors

Guys what do you think about the rear ZL1 rotors, here is what we are asking, do you feel there good for the track car, we don't think they will hold up for long, 2 days at the track and there blue, (if i had a blue car thats fine) so i ask do you think an upgrade is needed? its not that the car did not stop, its that in time this can become a big problem, looking to maybe do some upgrades.

did you just put new pads on?
I asked because I installed new pads and my rotors turned blue at first, 2 weeks later blue went away.

I've been running stock brake set up except for the fluid and they work very well. Had the rotors and rims treated with ceramic pro so they are also a snap to clean up after the track. On my third set of pads and stock rotors are still good and I even turned the fronts a bit back a few months ago.

After a weekend of autocross doing double runs (24 runs) per weekend. My son and I both drive the car. The front rotors turn blueish and after a few days or so it’s gone.

Just me but wouldn’t the ceramapro on the rotor surface hinder break performance since that’s a coating which is designed to let debris and water glide off the car?

Agreed with what someone said about the rotors being ceramic pro coated. Sounds dangerous. Or did you mean the calipers?

I expect to see double, if not triple life out of the rears compared to the fronts. Any cracking? Discoloration is not a huge concern in my book unless it's drastic.
