1st Sunday of the month and another fun day at the Buckingham Airstrip.
The M6 bog thing while trying to launch is really getting on my nerves. I've read it's a safety thing and user error of not disengaging the clutch fast enough. I had 6 runs today and 4 massive power cuts/farts when trying leave the line.

This video I just left the line like I would a stop light driving on the road. Oh well, enough bitching. Was a fun day and I had an 8 second spread from my 1st run to my 6th.

Same, had few head bangers from the throttle cut off the line. You can actually see rpm down to about 1000, throttle input stays the same. Video below in track mode, race. I didn't try any of the outer sports1,2, wet etc.

In sport mode, tour, 2K launch results in revs dropping to 1500 and climb w/o the neck snapping throttle cut off.

Track mode launch strategies is all fubar for autox.

Not even sure on where to begin... Very disappointed with the BFG's and their performance. The last time I ran the BFG Rival-S 1.0 was on a STS CRX and it was fantastic everywhere EXCEPT for Lincoln (ran them at spring nationals), which is when we switched to RE71R for nationals. Given that they are 315's and we are going to be running 12's in ESP, we decided to give them a try to see what they are all about. The "canyon scrubbing", 1st and 2nd heat cycle broke the cars handling. Car is sluggish to transition and puts down power worse than my 265/285 old RE71R tire combo on 10/11" wheels. I will give it the benefit of the doubt that it was on a smooth asphalt at Marana, AZ but IMO, still not an excuse... Potential sweeper grip is there but whose to say a 305 square 12" setup wouldn't be better? Only thing I have driven on was a 285 19" RE71R setup.

Car is looking "ok" but a little ridiculous at certain angles.

Videos below.

We've been changing the setup every event and during the vent. Being on the BFG's was by far the worse but we also increased roll stiffness in the front/rear. I will say compared to how it was when we arrived to when we left was a night and day difference. So I suspect, handling compromises with the BFG probably contributed to additional hard pedal issue.

Wow Jeff, I like how that looks. What are the specs of the wheels and tire size? How much camber are you running front and rear?

Have you guys tried disengaging PTM to see if it doesn't bog anymore?

They are 18x12 front and rear on 315's. Camber is in between -3.7 to -4.2 degrees on manual gauge (depends on where the zero position is)

Going to try using Track mode and just holding down the traction control button for 5 seconds next time. See how the 'launch' goes that way.

It will launch fine this way. You have to remember that all of the PTM modes have some amount of traction control. With everything off, it’ll launch like you want.

Are people getting "ice mode" in the 1LE's? I thought those car's didn't really get ice mode just the SS non-1LE's.

Also what options are there for 19x10/19x11 wheels for these cars? MRR & Forgestar anything else that's not crazy expensive?

Interesting. Did you do back to back testing? I would of for sure thought a 305 square setup would be faster.

Which bar is it? Adjustable? How does it compare to the SS 1LE stock front bar in terms of stiffness?
