Along with the 2013-2016 Boxter/Cayman S moving from SS to AS, and a bunch of BS cars getting moved to DS. And according to Mark Scroggs' response to me in the other thread the 1LE/GT350/GT PP2 move to BS is the main topic of discussion/decision for the board right now. So I will call it promising, but definitely not a done deal. we shall see on the Nov Fastrack.

Just put the SS 1LE/Gt350 in F street, best of breed, and call it quits

I dont disagree with this but I think FS needs to remain someone affordable. If you have to go out and buy a 45k 1LE compared to a 38k 1SS you may start to lose people. Hell the M3 ZCP is already causing that issue.

When I was on the hunt, from about July to Dec of last year, I found the best pricing *while still being able to get the options you wanted* for the 1SS was right around $33K and the 1LE was around $42K. Could I find cheaper with both, sure, if I wanted to compromise ……… point being, the 1LE is pretty much always going to have a "healthy" delta when it comes to cost and could definitely hurt the class' numbers - and then who knows what they (the board) would throw in class

……..but I am a vote for BS ! !

It's about time the M3 Comp Pkg got de-throned, it's had a good run.

I think that they'll probably wait until the Camaro gets shocks before classing.
It's my opinion that the SS will probably be up to the task to give the M3 a good fight at that point.
Heck, on day two at the Nationals in F-Stock the SS had the fastest run
...….just wasn't clean

or just write a letter moving the M3 CP to BS like I did

They won't be moving the track ponies to FS anytime soon. If anything does happen the M3 com pack will get moved out of the class in the hopes that helps the participation FS numbers.

Interesting. So nobody's made good shocks for the Gen 6 SS yet? I thought Koni had developed something.

Those damn M3's transition so well and the brakes are out of this world good, IMO.
