Automatic user titles

this got brought up in the off-topic section, so I figured Id throw it in here....

I think the automatic "senior member" title should be changed from 100 posts to 500. there are a lot.... correction..... A LOT of new people coming on here that get 100 posts and all of a sudden start acting like they run the show. I understand that the 100 posts thing was started when the site was young, but now we have grown larger and I think it should be changed. or even have a few more automatic titles added. I also understand that the user title can be changed, but some people dont know how or care to change it.

Something I was thinking of:

0-500 posts Junior member
500-2000 posts Senior member
2000-5000 posts Veteran member
5000+ posts Sage/Senex member
10,000+ posts OMGWTFBBQ member (or something along those lines)

Don't worry, the current ones were never meant to be permanent. We'll have something fun and unique soon.

I agree, its time to revise things. As it is, there's only two tiers of membership: junior and senior. Expanding that out to 3 or 4 is a good idea. How about some more suggestions for different 'levels' of members

Generally speaking, I prefer something that is related to the forum, I don't know how many would agree with me. But off the top of my head ... LS (<100), LT(<1000), and SS (<10 000)? And perhaps later .... Z28 (>10 000)?

ZL1 (>10,000)
Z28 (>5000)
2SS (>2000)
1SS (>1000)
LT...(500-999)
LS...(0-499)
