The drone is terrible . My ears are ringing after I drive . I don't have headers, though. Anyone wanna buy it come Spring ?

I am shocked, as this is suppose to be one of the best sounding cat back systems around. You should have no problem selling it. Sorry to hear you are not happy.

I've been listening to a ton of videos and sounds clips trying to determine what exhaust to go with. Even started a few different threads trying to get answers. While I everyone has got their own opinion I'm looking for a system that produces a powerful sound under acceleration and is louder than stock at idle. I'm not trying to make my 14 v6 sound like a v8. I just want an aggressive sound(not ricey or too high pitched) I'm considering the mrt v1 the slp LMII(which is louder than the mrt v1 right?) and I've also been considering the cnt racing exhaust as well. But primarily it's the first 2, each set up will have a rotofab and solo HFC to go along with it. What would you guys recommend and why?

I went back and forth with the mid or the header version (long pipe) but the longer version was just too raspy sounding so I liked the mid much better. I just hope it sounds good once installed. Here is one of the videos that sold me on the system ...

Watch the whole video because he does drive bys
I have the Pypes Catback Exhaust System on my car, and I love the exhaust note! Good choice!

Does any body know what the diameter of the piping thru out ? 2.5
And would I have any problem hooking up sum long tube headers ?
And could I hook up my stock (gutted) cats ?
Thanks in advance

Anyone have a video clip of their mrt v1 exhaust? I'd also love to hear it paired with a resonated x pipe as well

Look on the first page where all the systems are listed. MRT section, there are a few listed there.

Picked up a NIB Magnaflow #11386 yesterday to start piecing together my exhaust.
Now to find the right tips or axle-back muffler eliminators.

Got the new exhaust installed - I'm loving the new pipes! This is from CNT Racing, with X-pipe. Here's what it sounds like: http://youtu.be/jAlcb447GPM

Update on my exhaust. Had it installed, LOTS of interior drone and light and part throttle for the first week or two.
Exhaust has been on for two months now, about 1200 miles. It has mellowed out, no rasp, has the great "small euro V8" sound under hard throttle that I was wanting.
Unfortunately, no video. My children decide both my good cameras were toys and destroyed the lens on one and left the other out overnight in the rain.
And in all honesty, my cell phone might as well be a potato when it comes to videos.

Another question. V6-v8 exhaust conversions

So how interchangeable are the exhaust systems from the v6's to the v8's? Did the exhaust systems change with the 2013 remodel?

I have plans on putting a npp axle back from a 2013-14 zl1 will it fit in a 2010 v6?
Thanks
