Noticed the ads right when they showed up. I also thought the slowness was a result of these. Have to say I hate to see ads creep into the forum. It probably is only the beginning though and we will see more in the future. The proliferation of ads is the main reason I do not frequent other forums. I liked the clean straight forward format of this one.

It's been slow the last few times that I've been here. Today is the first time in about two weeks I've been here, and it's slower than ever. Not worth the frustration in my opinion. It took over two minutes for a topic reply to submit. Then I couldn't load the forum index...it just hung for several minutes. I ended closing my browser window and coming back later.
Personally, I'd rather they ask for donations or charge a fee to register if it meant keeping the forum functional. |

Last few days for me the web-site seems to be back to speed and working fine....Not slow at all anywhere....no issues....
