The biggest deal is you have to have about 6 to 8 inches of concrete instead of 4"s which is pretty standard on a concrete garage floor. I should have taken better pictures of the size of bolts and the thickness of the steel used. I was amazingly heavy gauge steel and the bolts the biggest I've seen in a lift. I had a 4 post in my shop a few years back and the bolts holding together were dinky in comparison. I would not be worried if I had that lift in my garage holding up a 3700 lb BMW or Camaro. You just have to see one to believe how bad ass it really is.

Did lots of research and pulled the trigger on this one. Good for 9'-10' ceilings. It's being installed this week.

So it looks like advantage bought backyard buddy and apparently now makes them overseas and rebranded them as advantage. My lift is exactly the same as that lift, however it’s likely 30 years old, made in USA and was lacking in safety. I completely re engineered my lift after the incident I had. If that lift is ALI certified, that’s a really good thing.

They have both lines Advantage and the Backyard buddy lifts. The Advantage lift seems far superior to the Backyard Buddy. Unfortunately, not much made here in the USA anymore.

advantage is made in the USA. Great lifts I intend to get one at some point. My garage has radiant heat so I'm not going to put a 2 post in it.

I have 2 Bendpak HD9XW 4 post lifts and one of them has the optional rolling air/hydraulic jacks. The jacks are great, nice all around blend of a 2 post and 4 post.

My Advantage DX9000HD 4 post lift has been installed. I added the light package and Rolling Air Jack. The 2017 Fifty and 2024 ZL1 fit perfect. Photos are not the best but will give you an idea. My ceiling height is 10'. I do have a few inches to spare. Pictures make it look like it's against the ceiling.
